Located near Orlando, just eight miles from
Walt Disney World and ten miles from the Orlando-Orange County
Convention center, Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM) accommodates
general aviation air service 24 hours a day with two paved
airport runways, 5,000 and 6,000 feet. Four FBOs are located
on the airport property, as well as a number of flight training
schools, new T-hangars and box hangars, and a variety of
recreational activities, including a historic Warbird Museum
with T-6 Warbird adventure flights, P-51 Mustang pilot training,
and an 18-hole golf course. The Orlando-area airport is owned
and operated by the City of Kissimmee and its air traffic
control tower operates from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. |
