The Director of Aviation and the Airport Advisory Board manage Kissimmee Gateway Airport.

:: Terry Lloyd, Director of Aviation ::

Terry Lloyd - Director of AviationTerry Lloyd, originally from Philadelphia, PA., completed a 22-year career with the Air Force in the airport management field. He had numerous assignments throughout the United States, including Avon Park, FL, and served in the United Kingdom, Korea and Honduras. In 1994, Terry was named Airport Manager of the Year for the Air Force's Mobility Command, which provides all air cargo and air refueling tanker service to all branches of the American military, and operates more than 14 bases worldwide. He has been a member of the American Association of Airport Executives since 1993, and completed the association's Certified Member accreditation in 1996. Terry, who has a M.B.A. from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, joined Kissimmee Gateway Airport after completing an assignment at Patrick Air Force Base, Cocoa Beach, Florida.

:: Debi Schnitzer, Airport Administrative Coordinator ::

Debi Schnitzer - Airport Administrative CoordinatorDebi has been with the City of Kissimmee since October 1980. She worked for the Department of Parks & Recreation for 17 years before joining Kissimmee Gateway Airport in 1997. Debi keeps the airport operating smoothly, overseeing administrative functions and fostering strong tenant relationships.

:: George Stokus, Airport Ops ::

Terry Lloyd - Director of AviationGeorge Stokus joined the airport staff in August 2004. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. George has held Operations positions at several airports in the United States, most recently Roanoke Regional Airport and was an intern at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport. He posses a Commercial Pilot’s Certificate and is a Certified Flight Instructor, and has flown for various agencies in the Orlando area. He brings a thorough knowledge of flight operations at Kissimmee Gateway Airport. George recently earned his Instrument Ground Instructors Certificate and is presently working on his Certified Instrument Flight Instructors Certificate. He is also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration through Keller School of Management.

:: Candy Bennage, Chairperson ::

Gene Sams, Member Candy Bennage is a 20 year resident of the City of Kissimmee. Through her love of aviation, she has worked in various capacities at the airport over the past 10 years. She is a student pilot and very interested in the future development of the airport.

 


:: George DeVillers, Vice Chairman ::

George DeVillers, Member Originally from New York, George is a retired pilot who is still active on the field and in his Advisory Board role. In addition, George is an active member of MetroPlan Orlando.


:: Dr. Joseph Torres, Member ::

Dr. Joseph Torres, MemberDr. Joseph Torres, a native Floridian is presently Chief of Staff at Osceola Regional Medical Center.


:: John Bykowski, Member ::

John Bykowski, Member

John Bykowski is the owner and operator of Clay Street Storage in Kissimmee. Prior to moving to Florida in 2004, John worked as an IT manager for 12 years. For the past three years, as a resident of Kissimmee, John has remained active in the community by serving as vice-chairman on the Downtown Kissimmee Area Council for the Chamber of Commerce and running for City Commission in 2006. John believes the airport is a unique treasure not many cities get to enjoy and he looks forward to its economic development potential.
