| Warbird Adventures Takes Off with New Construction
Local attraction breaks ground on new hangar
Kissimmee, FL – April 11, 2006 – Warbird Adventures, a hands-on flight training school and sightseeing attraction at Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM), recently broke ground on a new 12,500 square-foot hangar. The new hangar will be used for office space, aircraft storage, and as a maintenance facility. This is the first project in the ISM Business Airpark.
The new hangar will also be built to withstand 140 mile per hour winds, surpassing the City of Kissimmee’s wind code requirement of 110 miles per hour.
"We are thrilled to be getting our first hangar," Graham Meise, president of Warbird Adventures said. "We have been operating out of temporary shelters for almost 8 years. It will be nice to have a new facility."
The new hangar is scheduled to be complete later this year.
